Year 5

Moving to Year 6

Hello from your Year 6 teachers!

We are extremely excited to be meeting you all soon during our transition afternoon.

In Year 6 we become African animals - confident and independent learners who are ready to take on new challenges.

To help us with the very important job of selecting our new class names we would like you to create a fact file about an African animal of your choice. Have a look at the link below to find out more.

We have also uploaded a summer project for you as well as a project grid for you to have a go at.

Here is where you will find all the home learning set for Year 5 pupils.

Each week your teachers will add literacy and maths learning for you to do in the weekly folders - see the labelled tabs. There are also project grids with challenges for you to work through below.

UPDATE: The new Project grid and resource pack for Summer 2 has been added below. This half term’s focus is Fun at the Fair and there are a range of activities that we hope you will enjoy!

From Friday 1st May the Year 5 team will set learning linked to Literacy and Maths Skills for children to work on for the week ahead every Friday.

We are extremely proud of all the hard work you are putting into your home learning – well done Year 5!
