Year 5 geographers spent a day at the River Hamble undertaking a range of geography fieldwork tasks to explore the features of rivers. The geographers created field sketches of the river meander, undertook a river velocity (speed) test of a tributary and used their 6 figure coordinates to locate key features within the park.  A day in the field getting wet, muddy and exploring was a great geography day!
