Application deadlines for September 2026 entry:
- Year 7 (secondary school) places: 31 October 2025 at 23:59
- Year R (infant/primary school) places: 15 January 2026 at 23:59
- Year 3 (junior school) places: 15 January 2026 at 23:59
To apply for a September 2026 school place at Shirley Junior School, you will need to:
- Find and decide the order of your preferred schools. We strongly advise looking at the admissions policies for each school, so that you know how applications are considered and how the distance from home to school will be measured.
- Apply through the Citizen Portal: Citizen Portal - Sign in. You will need to set up an account if you don't already have one.
