Vacancy for Finance Governor
The Governing Body of Shirley Infant and Junior Schools is currently recruiting a Finance Governor. The role will involve advising the Governing Body in financial matters relating to the two schools including forecasting, budgeting and spending throughout the year. It would be ideally suited to someone with experience leading or working within a finance department or anyone else with an ability to review and digest financial information such as budgets and management accounts. Experience of operating within a school environment (eg, as a School Business Manager) would be useful, but is not essential.
